His numbers about Russian and Ukraine killed should have been about casualties.
Russia has taken almost a million casualties. And Ukraine has taken around 400,000 casualties.
KIA (Killed) are part of casualty statistics, and often misunderstood. Just as not every vehicle with a gun is a Tank, not everyone shot in combat dies.
Thanks for the analysis and picking for us the important phrases president Trump said. That said, you are analysing a person who is chaotic in his expression, often contradicting his own words and not following a stable logical narration over time. We can only hope that some of his words have deeper meaning, but it is also possible they have zero meaning. Some sarcastic commenters said that his brain is powered by a random word generator. I do not think that President Trump is weighing his words as carefully as his predecessors, which allowed analysts to indeed ponder upon the deeper sense - while here, there simply might not be any.
He's not chaotic at all and has been repeating absolutely the same mantras since 2022, with the key one: "the war wouldn't have started if I had been president."
His line since November 2024 has also been consistent regarding Hamas hostages and the attempt to push a peace deal which clearly isn't going well.
So, I don't understand where this notion even comes from. His line has been consistent throughout the years. Just because he occasionally says some bizarre things doesn't affect the general agenda he has had since 2016
I disagree but respect! I am going to look closer because I might be wrong. Trump being self-contradicting on Ukraine, for me, is: giving several signals that the war should be ended on Russia’s terms, saying aid to Ukraine should stop, and saying he agrees with Russia’s „feelings”, and saying he will end the war quickly- and then mocking Putin, threatening him, and saying things that you quoted. But I may not have full picture, I am not one of Trump analyst and could be missing context!
if ukraine wanted peace it would have never allowed banderisation of its country since 2004, never staged the coup in 2014, would have implemented minsk agreement and have never committed atrocities against own russian speaking citizens using neo-ꑭꑭꑭ fanatics, would have never bent over to stage bucha and derail istanbul to fight this proxy war for its masters.
so, do not twist the reality to serve your banderit's narrative...
