"Oh, We're Totally Ok with Trump": Zelenskyy Office's Honest Election Reaction
There is only one major thing that's off the table, according to my source
“Feeling good. Nothing that happened today was of any surprise. We've been preparing for quite a while. There were basically two plans. The first one if Kamala wins and the second one in case Donald does. So we're just following the second plan, that's all there is to it really.”
This was the answer of my source at President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Office when I asked him/her how the sentiment at the Office was following the close-to-a-landslide victory of Donald Trump in the U.S.
Speaking on condition of strict anonymity, the person presented me with some insights into what Zelenskyy is expecting from Donald Trump, potential cessation of territory, and big claims about Trump’s potential conduct at the White House.
Far from doom and gloom
Ukraine is ok with the potential freezing of the war. In fact, this agenda even suits us because of what’s going on the front. We'll spend that time to prepare for the next military wave that is coming regardless.
So, Minsk 3 isn’t such a bad idea in the current circumstances
What we’re not ok with is ceding territory to Russia. That’s off the table. Because Zelenskyy will initiate a referendum that’ll show that the majority of Ukrainians are not ok with it. And we will make sure that this is heard.
Trump surrendering Ukraine? No. Because if Trump does that, he understands perfectly well that China will immediately invade Taiwan. And then the U.S. won’t have any choice but intervene. It’s like a ripple effect. Iran would send even more missiles to Israel etc. So no.
Right now, we're just going to wait and not make any dramatic moves.
Let the katsapy (deragotary for Russians) be the ones who breach any potential agreement that Trump would seek to create.
Trump is like gospel
Look, all this talk about Putin potentially funding some election-related things for Trump (which we believe could have happened) or having a kompromat on him with some hookers in Moscow is really not relevant in this case.
Once Trump steps inside the White House and has power at both the Senate and the House of Representatives, he wouldn’t care less about Putin. He will be POTUS.
There's one thing that Trump and Putin definitely have in common. They both deem themselves to be gospel. So, if Putin breaks any sort of a hypothetical agreement, Trump would f-k him over.
Meanwhile, if he manages to freeze the conflict, he’ll be in a position to say: look, I stopped a war that “Biden started.”
And we’ll have around 3-4 years to prepare because he won’t be able to get re-elected after the second term while waiting for Putin to die basically.
Because Ukraine isn’t changing its goals. We still seek NATO membership and everything else. But when Putin dies and the change of government in Russia takes place, there will be a military opening for us to capitalise on.
We have plenty to cooperate on
I can tell you for sure that there will be a diplomatic reshuffle.
Ukraine's Ambassador to the U.S. Oksana Markarova will have to go.
We need to find somebody else who has better ties and understanding with the Republicans. We already have a list of candidates on the table. Kuleba (ex foreign minister who resigned several months ago)? No. This will be someone who has contacts with the Republicans and has helped them visit Ukraine since the full scale invasion.
We're also prepared to collaborate with the Protestant crowd. There are 1,000,000 of Protestants in Ukraine and we will enhance the ties.
Also, we're going to be working with the military industrial complex and have some good deals to offer. It’s in their interest too. Lots of lobbying ahead.
Finally, there are some parts of Zelenskyy’s Victory Plan that could speak to Trump like replacing American soldiers with Ukrainian ones in Europe.
So, in short, like I said, we have planned for all of this.

It’s not funny that Zelensky “planned” for a Trump administration. What’s funny is your president (and you) thinking that our next president’s administration can be planned for. Zelensky has no idea what’s in store for him and Ukraine with Trump. You also don’t understand Trump’s relationship with Putin which dates back to before 2013. Being president won’t change a thing about that as he demonstrated 2016-2020. That you obviously think Trump/Putin bromance trivial is funny. Ceding territory to Russia will not be allowed by Trump to be taken off the table. Get ready, Zelensky will be forced by Trump to do so. Donald won’t have a problem shutting off Ukraine’s war funds if he doesn’t. He also won’t get the support that Israel had from the US in building its defense dome you’re so fond of. You’ve so minimized what Biden did for Ukraine that you’re blind to what Trump will do to Ukraine. Remember when Trump didn’t get his way regarding Zelensky providing dirt on Hunter Biden? He withheld aid to Ukraine and only released it because he was forced to. He will remember Ukraine’s slight, as it will be perceived by Trump, and seek retribution. You don’t think that Trump will sell Ukraine down the river if he can cut a deal with Putin to gain access to its vast mineral and oil/gas supply after Kiev is toppled? 🤦♀️ No. You simply don’t understand Trump or his core supporters who love them some Putin, as demonstrated by Tucker Carlson. Plus, you don’t get the relationship between Christian Nationalist and Trump, demonstrated by your comment regarding protestants. MAGA evangelicals (Christian Nationalist) are not the same thing as Protestants. CN don’t care about Ukraine or its fight against tyranny. They care about establishing a theocracy and fucking the poor. Face it; along with the LGBTQ+ community, the Black and Brown community, immigrants (documented or not), Haitians, women, the constitution, civil rights, democracy and … Ukraine are fucked. Sorry about that.
